Are you thinking about launching a new product or manufacture your own products? If so, you are probably stressed out right now about the process. But, this is not rocket science so, no need to think too much. You can get it done by five steps. From the initial idea and concept to the launch, it is only simple tricks you need. 1. Decide the name The domain name must be memorable, brandable and available. In short form, you can say it as ‘MBA’. The goal is to make aware of the brand, make people interested and convert them to customers and better, stay with you for the lifetime. We suggest you to go for .com as it the universal extension. But if you focusing on only local business, you can use your country code. EX: .lk. It can be decided based on your niche too. Just because .com is mostly used doesn’t mean that it is the best option for anyone. Other domains might work better for your business. 2. Secure a manufacturer The most important thing when finding a manufacturer is whether they are reliable. If products are not ready on time or defective, your whole plan will be crushed. So, when launching a new product or starting a new business, your manufacturer is a determining fact. Communication between you and potential manufacturers is important. If they take too much time to respond or don’t fully understand what you need, you can cross them off from the list. Remember to clearly state your requirements and conditions. 3. Lay the groundwork to build the brand Design and create the logo, labels, packaging and the website. The website and packaging don’t have to be 100 % perfect from the beginning. You can revise and re-create them later if you want. But for the logo, it is not good to change it frequently as people tend to recognise the brand by the logo rather than the name. 4. Get your website fully functional It’s okay you are not ready to sell products. Get your website up and fully functional as soon as possible. Why? Because you can collect data from visitors to use them in the future to improve user experience and conversion. Only if you have real visitors can you get to know whether the conversion is going well. Based on the information, you need to test and optimise the site. 5. Set the goals and establish advertising channels You probably have a limited budget at the beginning. So, narrow down the advertising channels to a few solid ones and scale them up. Later, you can onto another traffic source.
